Our speaker today is Rory Aplanalp, President & CEO of Aplanalp Associates and Starlight Publishing- an international speaking and training organization that enhances individual and corporate performance by helping people improve their attitudes and actions.

Rory was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. He now resides in the great state of Texas.  

He learned most of what he knows from:

·        Being the oldest of 9 kids

·        From being the father of 8 children of his own

·        And from marrying way over his head 

He has been:

·        A Window-washer

·        An Asphalt Truck Driver

·        And for more than 14 years was one of the most highly requested speakers for the Franklin Covey Organization. 

He became a Professional Speaker:

Because his high school drama teacher, Mrs. Sylvester, recognized his gift for public speaking and encouraged him to use it. 

As a professional speaker, he has:

·        Co-authored a best selling book entitled, “The Five-Minute Rule”

·        Presented well over 6,000 presentations

·        And shared the stage with many world and industry leaders.
